Who is this course for?
This course is addressed to teens (+13 years old) and adults with little or no knowledge of Greek who wish to have an additional acquaintance with Greek customs and traditions.
What you will learn in this course
At this level students produce oral and written language with ease and confidence in conversations on familiar topics, using various time frames and handle social interactions in everyday situations. They can understand most of the information in a dialogue on familiar topics. They can make short presentations and write ups, messages or letters informal and formal, on a variety of topics related to everyday life and personal interests and studies (100 words).
How much time will I spend per week?
The student will spend an average of 4-5 hours per week. This will include Language classes as well as other related cultural activities that will reinforce the Greek Language.
When does the course start and when is expected to be completed
The Fall Semester starts in September and ends shortly before Christmas. The Winter/Spring Semester starts in January and ends in May. For exact dates please see the Calendar.

When will the exams be performed and how much will the costs be?
Typically, the exams are in May. The actual dates and fees of the exams are announced by the Greek Language Center in early Spring.
