Who is this course for?

This course is addressed to teens (+16 years old) and adults with little or no knowledge of Greek who wish to have an additional acquaintance with Greek customs and traditions.

What you will learn in this course

At this level students are able to communicate on a variety of topics, such as the environment, careers, education, modern way of life, etc., using more complex structures and vocabulary. They are able to understand a lot of information by listening to Podcasts, Ads, TV shows. Also, they are able to produce essays for various topics (150 words) in a variety of time frames and speak with fluency.

How much time will I spend per week?

The student will spend an average of 4-5 hours per week. This will include Language classes as well as other related cultural activities that will reinforce the Greek Language.

When does the course start and when is expected to be completed

The Fall Semester starts in September and ends shortly before Christmas. The Winter/Spring Semester starts in January and ends in May. For exact dates please see the Calendar.

What are the prerequisites for this course?

There are no prerequisites for this course except good mood.

When will the exams be performed and how much will the costs be?

Typically, the exams are in May. The actual dates and fees of the exams are announced by the Greek Language Center in early Spring.
