Who is this course for?
This course is intended for adults that want to learn Greek. No previous knowledge is required.
What you will learn in this course
Τhe students are going to recognize, pronounce and read Greek letters, numbers and some basic words and expressions. They are going to communicate through simple daily expressions, such as greetings, introductions, and simple descriptions. They are going to make short guided dialogues exchanging personal info, including their names, place of living, age, etc. Moreover, they are also going to come closer to the culture and way of life of Modern Greece.
How much time will I spend per week?
The student will spend an average of 4-5 hours per week. This will include Language classes as well as other related cultural activities that will reinforce the Greek Language.
When does the course start and when is expected to be completed
Our Academic Year Starts The Last Week Of September and consists of 27-28 weeks. For exact dates please see the Calendar.
What are the prerequisites for this course?
There are no prerequisites for this course except good mood and a desire to learn.
Will there be an exam or some certification?
No. There are no exams in this course. Greek School Online will provide at the end of the course a certificate of successful attendance. Caution! If you wish to obtain a language proficiency certification from the Greek Language Center, look for the Ellinomatheia courses we offer
